Creating Inclusive Designs That Are Visually Impactful
Hiii, I’m Tiffany Chen—illustrator, graphic designer, and, most important, product designer.
Inclusion and accessibility aren’t just things I check off a list—they guide every design decision I make. With a background in illustration and graphic design from Parsons School of Design, I’ve always used visuals to give a voice to underserved communities. Currently, at Northwestern University, I’m learning how to bring those skills into tech, combining design with human-centered research to build products that are both intuitive and inclusive.
I love creating experiences that connect people and technology in meaningful ways. At Nuubi, a gamified online learning platform, I redesigned the onboarding experience to help users feel more at home and engaged. I also worked on gamification strategies to make learning more fun while laying the foundation for future monetization.
When I’m not lost in a Figma file, I’m probably exploring how digital art and human-centered design intersect, scrolling through It’s Nice That and Pinterest for inspiration, or taking a walk along Lake Michigan when the sun’s out.
